Chef Ryan Scott, a contestant on the Chicago season of “Top Chef” in 2008, has a few tattoos, including “a 1998 mistake,” he said the other morning, laughing. But if Scott, 33, should rethink that ink, when it comes to his culinary career, it seems he’s made the right moves since then.
